The Sattouf reunion

The Sattouf family wait the arrival of their relatives
Nisrin Sattouf, her husband and their six children were among the 25,000 Syrian refugees resettled to Canada. They arrived in Saskatoon on February 22, 2016.

Today, on their second anniversary of their arrival, the Sattouf family returned to the airport to welcome Nisrin’s mother Kadria and brother Mohamed to the city.  It was an emotional reunion. They have not been together for six years.

Nest agreed to help the Sattouf family sponsor their five relatives in the summer of 2016.  A number of Saskatoon residents, who had never met the Sattouf family, donated money.
